WRITING

 

I have written for three publications over the years. I began work as a reporter/photographer for the "Westman Gazette" newspaper in Virden, followed by the "Southwestern Gazette" several years later (both in Virden, but each under different management). After moving to Winnipeg, I freelanced as an advertorial writer/photographer for a publication called "Winnipeg Business Month".

 

These six articles are samples of work that I have done for each publication. "'For the Moment' coming to Virden" was one of the first articles that I ever wrote for publication (and it shows). My writing style did improve as time went on, and I occasionally received reprint requests from newspapers in neighbouring towns.
